Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly being deployed to strengthen humanitarian preparedness and climate resilience, from anticipatory early warning systems to data-driven food security tools. Yet critical questions remain unanswered: what solutions are out there, who is funding them, where are the gaps, and what do promising solutions need to be able to scale beyond pilots?
GRP is conducting a landscape analysis to explore these questions, and we need input from the people closest to this work.

We are conducting a short online survey to map AI-powered solutions for climate resilience and anticipatory action in humanitarian contexts and determine opportunities and barriers to scaling. The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete.
Who can participate?
The survey is open to individuals and organisations working in AI-driven solutions for humanitarian preparedness and response, especially in climate resilience and anticipatory action in humanitarian contexts.
- Funders & DFIs: foundations, investor, climate/adaptation funds, development finance.
- Implementing & integrator organisations: UN agencies, INGOs, national and international NGOs.
- Innovators in AI for climate resilience and anticipatory action in humanitarian contexts: for-profit start-ups/SMEs and not-for-profit solution providers.
- Ecosystem & technical: academia, advocacy networks, anticipatory-action networks, AI-for-good networks.
Why participate?
Your input will directly shape a publicly accessible landscape analysis of AI for climate resilience and anticipatory action in humanitarian contexts. Findings will be shared across GRP’s funder and partner network and published as an open resource.
By completing this survey you will:
- Contribute to the evidence base on what works and what doesn’t in AI for humanitarian response, including scaling barriers
- Influence how funders and partners engage in this space, including how graduation pathways for AI solutions are defined and resourced
